So in the spirit of that last item..

TEN REASONS WHY...
...We're glad we're stuck back in the UniBond
|
- It's a drop of only one division from the Conference,
so it's just as if as if we'd lost the last game of last
season at Kidderminster, instead of winning it.
- It's better than NorthWest Trains Division Two. A
drop of four divisions to the very bottom of the
non-League pyramid would have been just too much to
bear.
- We can see more away games because, unlike the
Conference, it's not a national league. Most of the other
clubs are in Lancashire or Cheshire.
- The refs will still be crap.
- We'll be the best supported club at both home and
away games by a mile.
- We'll win more games than we did last season.
- We'll be part of the race for the UniBond
championship and we might even win.
- We'll still be playing our games at Holker St.
- We can enjoy Kenny Lowe's forty yard passes from
midfield.
- Barrow AFC are still alive.
|
...We should never have been
expelled from the Conference
|
- We won our last game and finished clear of the three
relegation spots.
- The club which started and finished last season is
still in existence.
- The best guarantee of meeting old debts is to ensure
that Barrow play at the highest level that their
performances on the pitch allow.
- Football should be about what happens on the field,
not off it.
- We've got a better team than half the clubs in the
Conference.
- We're amongst the six best supported non-League clubs
in the country.
- We deserve to play in the Conference.
- The decision to expel us was not even put to a
vote.
- We were denied an appeal by an administrative sleight
of hand.
- We'll get back there one day. And we'll win it.
