Don't know what this is all about...

ODE to a DEPARTED CHAIRMAN

So Stephen it's a sad farewell.
You've been knocked out before the bell.
Given your money to a football team
And seen the ruin of your dreams.

You bought the club from good old Bill,
And sorted out its urgent ills,
You paid off all the pressing debts,
Conference bound we were set.

Your manager was good old Hezza
But he wasn't long for your pleasure.
Then you turned to Mickey Walsh
Till he was lured by Swindon's cash.

Finally your mate Owen Brown
Sorted things out, turned things round.
Now we're top of the league again,
Just as Customs check your friends.

Although we're sad you had to leave,
We will keep to heart your dream,
The one you shared with the great Ray,
For Barrow to play in the League some day.
