- We won't come straight back down again.
- We won't have to play Morecambe.
- We'll have proper derby games (for a change) against
Lancaster City.
- We don't know the way to most of the Conference
grounds.
- We know the way to every away ground in the UniBond
now without having to stop to ask someone.
- If we meet a Conference club in a cup competition,
and beat 'em we'll be giant killers.
- We'll have the biggest home crowds.
- We'll be the best supported team away from home.
- We can enter the President's Cup (hmm, are you sure
about this? Ed.).
- We can get to most away games in just an hour or
two's drive.
- We'll have the best grandstand.
- We'll have the newest grandstand.
- We can get promoted as champions at the end of the
season.
- We always get promotion when the year ends in a '7'
i.e.) season 1966-67 (Yeah, so what about 76-77 and 86-87
then? Ed.).
- We can watch another game from the slagheap at
Frickley.
- We can say '*¢# off' to Marine goalie
Kevin O'Brien again.
- We can say hello to all the sheep at Buxton and
Colwyn Bay.
- We'll hardly ever appear on the pools coupon (We
always get stuffed when we do).
- There'll be enough time to get the accounts ready
(are you sure about this one, as well? Ed.).
- There'll be a new stand in front of the Sports and
Leisure Club.
- It costs more to watch Conference games.
- We'll have another new manager... possibly.
